General terms for employing a caregiver

The employer is responsible to give updated working visa tohis caregiver

Clarification: the Israeli labor law is above any contract

Therefore, the employer will commit to ministry of Interiorto provide fair conditions such as bed, food, medicalInsurance, rest time etc

In order to ensure the flow of reliable, ongoing andup-to-date information between the authorities and the employer and the caregiver, a new law came up requiring every employer and every caregiver to be registered with an authorized company and must allow the agency to make house visits

The salary of the caregiver is according to the minimum wagein Israel and a few elements that must be taken in consideration:

1. Legally the employer may didact up to 25% due to food& accommodation expenses

2. Whether more people live in the same house and get some services

3. How difficult is the job regarding the personal care and the difficulty of the household

4. Weekly advances of NIS 100 can be paid from the monthly salary
