The monthly salary is set according to the minimum wage in Israel, from which no more than 25% can be reduced for food and living expenses in the employer's house. A raise should be considered if the job is very demanding. The minimal terms for employment have been set by the Ministry of interior. You can see those terms here

Employer of foreign caregiver may offset up to 25% at most, for living expenses at home. Thus foreign caregivers minimum wages today currently stands at a total of 4180 NIS per month.

However, it is long time accepted in the field of foreign caregivers in Israel that their wages are higher than the minimum. Therefore, for the benefit of employers, though unfortunately for the workers, there will be no changes in the monthly wage for the next two years. If the caregiver requests, weekly advances of NIS 100 can be paid and offset against the monthly salary.

Yet there are salary components directly affected by the minimum wage in Israel without any reduction, and it is important to know that these rates will rise accordingly. These are annual leave, work rate on a holiday, on a weekend, calculation of pension, compensation, fees prior notice, and national insurance payment.
